I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy for adults in Florida and Colorado.

I specialize in helping adults heal from PTSD, complex trauma, attachment trauma, and trauma-related dissociation using EMDR therapy, parts work, and a trauma-informed, relational approach.

Many of my clients are insightful, high-functioning, and used to holding it together on the outside while feeling disconnected, emotionally shut down, overwhelmed in relationships, or stuck in patterns that still feel shaped by the past. My work is centered on helping you understand those patterns with compassion and begin changing them in a way that feels grounded, intentional, and sustainable.

Who I Work With

I work best with adults who are ready to look beneath the surface of their symptoms and understand the deeper roots of what they are experiencing.

Many of my clients struggle with things like:

  • PTSD and complex trauma

  • Trauma-related dissociation

  • Emotional numbness or shutdown

  • Hypervigilance and chronic stress responses

  • Shame, self-doubt, and fear of being too much or not enough

  • People-pleasing and difficulty accessing anger or boundaries

  • Patterns in relationships that feel repetitive, confusing, or hard to change

  • Younger parts of themselves that still carry pain from childhood or relational wounds

Often, my clients have already done a lot of thinking, reading, reflecting, or previous therapy. They may understand their patterns intellectually, but still feel stuck in them emotionally, physically, or relationally. This work is for people who want healing that goes deeper than insight alone.

Why I Do This Work

A woman with long wavy hair sitting cross-legged on a brown leather couch, smiling at the camera, in a room with large windows and patterned curtains.

I was drawn to this work through both professional experience and a deep respect for what it takes to heal. Over the years, I have worked in community mental health, treatment settings, and private practice, supporting people impacted by trauma, anxiety, family dysfunction, relational pain, and significant life stress.

What continues to matter most to me is creating a space where clients can feel deeply understood without being rushed, pathologized, or reduced to a list of symptoms. Trauma can leave people feeling fragmented, disconnected, ashamed, or like they are somehow failing at life while quietly carrying adaptations that once helped them survive. I believe healing begins with making sense of those adaptations and helping you build a safer relationship with yourself in the present.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

My style is warm, grounded, and direct. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough for honesty, curiosity, and meaningful change.

Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by their symptoms or frustrated that they “know better” but still react the way they do. I help connect the dots between past experiences and present patterns so that what feels confusing can start to make sense.

In therapy with me, you can expect:

  • A collaborative and individualized approach

  • Compassion without over-coddling

  • Room for complexity, ambivalence, and protective parts

  • Attention to pacing and nervous system safety

  • Trauma work that is deep, but not unnecessarily overwhelming

  • A focus on helping you feel more connected, more present, and more able to move through life with choice

What to Expect in Our First Session

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for the work.

We will talk about what is bringing you in, what you have been struggling with, what you want from therapy, and any questions you have about the process. I also want to get a sense of how your nervous system tends to respond to stress, what patterns are showing up in your life and relationships, and what kind of pace will feel supportive for you.

You do not need to show up with everything figured out. The first session is not about performing your pain correctly. It is about beginning to understand what you are carrying and whether this feels like the right fit.

What Healing Can Look Like

Therapy can help you begin to:

  • Feel less reactive to reminders of the past

  • Understand dissociation and shutdown with more compassion

  • Build more trust in yourself, your feelings, and your boundaries

  • Stay more present in relationships and daily life

  • Reduce shame and self-blame

  • Process traumatic memories in a way that feels more integrated

  • Feel more connected to yourself instead of constantly managing survival patterns

  • Live with more intention and less fear-driven reactivity

Healing does not mean becoming unaffected by what happened. It can mean feeling safer, more connected, and more able to live from the present instead of from old wounds.
